3. The Bucks trade down from No. 17

Milwaukee will end up trading down from No. 17 in order to gain some more financial flexibility come July 1 when free agency starts. As it stands right now, they’ll have very limited money to spend in free agency and that’s completely dependent on how deep into the tax the owners are willing to go. Oh, and the Jabari Parker situation.

So in order to create some additional flexibility, they’ll try to move one of three contracts; Tony Snell, Matthew Dellavdova or John Henson.

One of the most likely teams to engage in a trade of that magnitude is the Atlanta Hawks. They hold the 30th pick in addition to a couple of other selections throughout the draft. They are in complete rebuild mode and wouldn’t mind taking on additional salary in order to acquire another chance at drafting a valuable player. I predict the Bucks to jump all over that opportunity.
