3. Khyri Thomas

Khyri Thomas is projected to go in the same range as Robinson, so it would likely take some maneuvering for the Bucks to snatch him off the draft board.

However, teams are probably more likely to take a chance on Thomas given he’s from the same mold as Donovan Mitchell. At just under 6-foot-4 and sporting a 6-foot-10.5 wingspan, Thomas reminds a lot of people of the Rookie of the Year candidate. Even though he’s a bit undersized as a shooting guard, he can still get the job done.

Thomas would immediately boost the Bucks’ defense in the backcourt and is a menacing defender. He’s also strong enough to switch onto bigger players and hold his own.

Offensively, he’s learning how to knock down threes on spot-up opportunities which will go a long way in determining his success at the next level. He can also play from the post and help run an offense from that point on the floor.

Overall, he’s not nearly as creative with the ball as Mitchell is, but there are some similarities to their game. If the Bucks make a move down in the draft, they should have Thomas very high on their board.
