The Milwaukee Bucks have an opportunity to commit a highway robbery by selecting any of these five players int he 2018 NBA Draft.

The Milwaukee Bucks are now less than a week away from the 2018 NBA Draft. The excitement is building and all the hard work the front office and scouts have done will finally come to a head on Thursday, June 21.

Milwaukee has a couple of options with their pick. One could be to make the selection and then trade it to another team to either acquire a veteran talent or to attach it to one of their questionable contracts and shed salary for a potential free agent signing. If they go that route, they must make the pick first and then trade him due to the CBA Rules of not being able to trade back to back first round picks (they could potentially owe the Phoenix Suns their pick next year).

The other option could be to keep the draft pick they select and hope he can turn into a contributor. This year’s class is fairly deep so the Bucks should have a nice opportunity at acquiring a talented young man who can see some playing time next season (and hopefully produce positive results).

Given where these five guys are being projected in the draft, any of them could end up as potential steals for the Bucks. Whether they hold at their 17th overall pick, move up (unlikely) or move down, these guys could be there for them to pull a fast one on the rest of the NBA.
