4. Kevin Huerter

Kevin Huerter is another player who has risen significantly in the last month or so and is projected to go right after Okobo in the early 20’s.

Huerter played two seasons at Maryland, starting all 65 games he appeared in and took a solid step forward during his sophomore season. On the surface, he looks like he might be a great fit for the Bucks given his sharpshooting abilities from the outside. He can also hit step-backs and pull-up jumpers to boot.

Unfortunately, his release is way too slow and is often blocked as a result. He also needs to work on his shooting mechanics and has a ways to go before he cleans it up in that department.

His lack of athleticism all across the board is another cause for concern. He’s neither fast, quick nor explosive. That will lead to a huge adjustment in the NBA and one of the biggest reasons the Bucks should stay away from him. Don’t buy the hype on Huerter.
