Every team wants to stay away from potential busts in the 2018 NBA Draft. Here are five players the Milwaukee Bucks should identify in that category.

Given the deep nature of the 2018 NBA Draft class, the Milwaukee Bucks will have a plethora of players to choose from when they get on the clock at No. 17. Which player they choose, or don’t choose, could play a critical factor in their 2018-19 season.

Guys like Aaron Holiday, Jacob Evans, Zhaire Smith and Elie Okobo are all projected to be available in the Bucks’ range. There are also a handful of other players the Bucks could go with depending on their priorities and preferences.

At this point in the draft, nobody really knows for certain how a player will turn out. There are too many moving pieces and variables to predict how good someone will become two, three or even six years from now. And that’s what makes the draft so exciting.

Every team tries to pin it down to an exact science, but nobody is ever close to perfect. However, we hope Milwaukee can buck their current trend of drafting players who have yet to produce consistent results at the NBA bust. If they are committed to ending that unfortunate pattern, they must stay away from these five players or risk drafting another bust.
