1. Chicago Bears

Key Additions: WR Allen Robinson, TE Trey Burton, WR Taylor Gabriel, LB Roquan Smith, OL James Daniels, WR Anthony Miller

Key Losses: S Quintin Demps, WR Cameron Meredith, QB Mike Glennon

This was a tough admission but the Chicago Bears are the most improved team in the NFC North. Partly because their roster was so bad a season ago.

Receiver used to be their biggest weakness, but the Bears have done their part in turning it into a strength. Allen Robinson is a former Pro-Bowler who also led the league in touchdowns in 2015. Him lining up next to Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller has potential to be a nightmare for the rest of the division. Basically, it will come down to how big of a leap second-year quarterback Mitch Trubisky can take in 2018.

Early second-round pick James Daniels out of Iowa will be an instant starter at right guard. The two-headed monster backfield consisting of Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen should make his job easier as a rookie.

On the other side of the ball, Chicago did well in the draft while also getting better from within. Roquan Smith has the makeup of a future NFL star and could be the sideline to sideline land shark the Bears have missed since Urlacher was roaming the field. They also did right re-signing corners Kevin Fuller and Prince Amukamara. Green Bay tried to steal Fuller through an offer sheet but it was quickly matched by Chicago.

All in all the Bears improved on multiple fronts and should put forth a noble effort in climbing out of the cellar of the division.
