2. Green Bay Packers
Key Additions: TE Jimmy Graham, DE Muhammad Wilkerson, CB Tramon Williams, TE Marcedes Lewis, CB Jaire Alexander, CB Josh Jackson, QB DeShone Kizer
Key Losses: WR Jordy Nelson, S Morgan Burnett, DB Damarious Randall
Not included on this list was the firing of former defensive coordinator Dom Capers which in turn was addition by subtraction. Kidding aside, Brian Gutekunst and the Packers have done everything possible to build a championship team that will start and end with Aaron Rodgers.
The release of Jordy Nelson was tough to come to grips with, but the decision has potential to reap greater rewards. With Nelson off the books, Green Bay signed Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis to stack their group of tight ends. Having a well-rounded blend of tight ends who can block and catch is nothing like what Rodgers has had as a Packer.
The defense is young but Mike Pettine is doing his best to instill confidence in his guys. His no BS approach appears to be resonating throughout the entire organization.
