The Milwaukee Bucks really need to hit home on their 2018 first round draft pick. Here are five players they should consider to make sure they do so.

With the 2018 NBA Draft fast approaching, the Milwaukee Bucks are just finishing up their homework on a number of prospects in this year’s class. I’m sure they’ve gathered all the information they possibly could, now it’s just about ranking their preference of players and running through numerous scenarios.

Like every team, they have a number of different projected outcomes and are coming up with a gameplan for each and every one. This will help them become as prepared as possible for draft night, increasing their probability of making the correct decision.

As they continue to do that, I’ve outlined five candidates they should consider with the 17th overall pick. Each of these five guys is unique in their own way, but could become a valuable contributor as soon as their rookie season.

The Bucks are in a tough spot this season, as their backs are against the salary cap wall. They will want to maximize all their assets from here on out in order to convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to continue his career here when his contract is up in three years.

In that way, they can’t go wrong with selecting any of these five players.
