The first thing you must know about Zhaire Smith is that he can jump out of the gym. Literally. Okay, maybe not literally, but you get the point. He’s a high flying guard who would give the Bucks a huge boost of athleticism and defense. Even though he’s only 6-foot-4, he is strong enough to defend multiple positions and has a great wingspan. He also works on the glass, something the Bucks need more of at every position. His shooting is the biggest downfall, but he could turn himself into a great slasher and cutter, as he continues to develop his understanding of the game.

In the link below, you can find his strengths, weaknesses, comparison and his fit on the Bucks:

Role with Bucks:

  • Guard off the bench who could potentially offset Tony Snell or Sterling Brown.
  • Off-ball cutter when defenses are keyed in on Giannis Antetokounmpo.
  • Good off-ball screener to get teammates open
  • Engaged defender who can guard multiple positions
