Wisconsin Football: 5 reasons to be optimistic for 2018

2. Offensive line

The offensive line is going to be as dominant as ever in 2018. Maybe even more so than we’re used to.

Depending on which outlet you rely on for your draft information, Wisconsin could have three of those linemen selected in the first round of the 2019 draft. David Edwards, Beau Benzchawel and Michael Dieter all have a legitimate chance to be chosen within the first 32 picks with good showings this season.

Wisconsin also has six linemen who are worthy of a starting spot which will leave lots of sorting out to do before the beginning of the season. That affords them some very nice flexibility in the case of an injury and an opportunity to trot all six out their for their run-heavy sets.
