4. Tamba Hali, Outside Linebacker

Tamba Hali, also formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, is still available due to his age. Hali spent 12 seasons with the Chiefs and was a top ten pass rusher during the peak of his career. He boasts 89.5 sacks over his career, a number only surpassed by Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas for most sacks in Chiefs’ history.

The Packers dove into the aged-veteran category of pass rushers last season when they signed Ahmad Brooks. He played in 12 games and was an excellent asset in the run game, but only recorded one and a half sacks. Perhaps Brooks’ performance would skew the Packers’ view on aging pass rushers.

Hali was selected to five Pro Bowls during his career, all in consecutive seasons (2011-2015). Could the Packers resurrect him to what he once was? He could provide excellent situational pass rushing ability, similarly to how Julius Peppers was used. However, at 35-years-old it remains to be seen how much Hali has left in the tank.
