Green Bay Packers fans everywhere have enjoyed a thrilling offseason thus far. Recent comments from Mike McCarthy suggested their free agency spending may not be over, though. Here are five remaining free agents who make sense for the Packers.

The Green Bay Packers have already signed a multitude of players this offseason. As we all know, the process of acquiring new players is never-ending; this is the life of the NFL. The offseason never sleeps. Rosters are consistently being churned, causing general managers to ponder their next objective.

Speaking to the media Thursday, Mike McCarthy stated the current free agency landscape is one Brian Gutekunst still wants to be ‘active and aggressive’ in. It seems the Packers front office may have their eyes on a few players.

At this point in the offseason, all the high-profile free agents have long been signed. There may not be any superstars left on the market, but there are certainly contributors waiting in the wings.

In the past week, Green Bay signed tight end Marcedes Lewis and offensive tackle Byron Bell, both players who could prove to play important roles in 2018. Lewis comes in as one of the best run blocking tight ends in the league. Bell is a very capable swing tackle, who started 76 games in his career.

If the rumors are true, that Brian Gutekunst still wants to be active in free agency, then which players make sense? Here are five best players currently on the market who could succeed with the Packers.
