Safeties: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Josh Jones

Similar to the cornerback position, safety is a big question mark as well.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was a Pro Bowler two years ago but struggled last season. He openly admitted his struggles were due to the lack of talent around him. Not something you necessarily want to hear from a player. He’s also the most durable player on the team, as he hardly ever misses a snap.

Josh Jones will be in competition for the other safety position with Kentrell Brice. Jones has more talent which is why I lean his way for the starting nod. He had some ups and downs last season, but will try to show more ups in his natural position of safety. He’ll likely play close to the line of scrimmage and help out in the run game.

With all the question marks in the secondary, the safeties might be tasked with covering up a bunch of mistakes. Luckily, this duo has the talent to compensate for the task and still find success.
