Green Bay Packers: 6 guys who could be playing elsewhere in 2019

4. Bryan Bulaga

Bryan Bulaga is one of the best right tackles in the NFL and there’s really not much discussion to be had on the subject. His issue has always been staying healthy.

He’s missed 27 games in his career due to injury and that included 11 last season. Green Bay already reportedly approached him about a pay cut and he declined. Now, they signed offensive tackle Byron Bell as competition at right tackle as Bulaga recovers from a torn ACL.

If either Bell or Jason Spriggs impress enough, Bulaga could even be let go this season. I doubt that happens, however, as Green Bay will certainly prioritize protecting Aaron Rodgers.

He’s under contract for $5.85 million for this season and another $5.85 million in 2019 as well. Look for Green Bay to re-structure or flat out cut him if he can’t stay healthy. As they say, availability is the best ability.
