5. Ty Montgomery

Ty Montgomery is another likely cap casualty for Green Bay in 2019. Montgomery has had a roller coaster career after being drafted in the third round of the 2015 draft.

He began his career as a wide receiver and is a talented pass-catcher, no doubt. What he does with the ball in his hands is even more amazing. However, Green Bay was forced to put him at running back during his second season after a rash of injuries.

He had some success at the position, but has been unable to stay healthy so far. Now, Aaron Jones and Jamal Williams have surpassed him on the depth chart. Mike McCarthy is going to have to find a creative way to get Montgomery the ball because he is certainly deserving. Unfortunately, given the two second-year players ahead of him, the Packers might let him walk after the season as well.
