19. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety

With one of the best names in the NFL, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has emerged as a reliable player on the back-end. Coming out of Alabama, the star-studded safety wasn’t expected to fall to the Packers at pick 21 in the first round. Green Bay didn’t hesitate to select him, and since being drafted in 2014 he’s already made a pro bowl (2016) and was named a second-team all-pro (2016) in the same season.

As a rookie, Clinton-Dix made an immediate impact. He intercepted Russell Wilson in the NFC Championship game not once, but twice, despite a losing effort to the Seattle Seahawks. In 2015, Clinton-Dix led the Packers defense with 100 tackles. He also intercepted Carson Palmer in the 2016 Divisional playoffs.

Clinton-Dix’s best season came in 2016 when he recorded five interceptions, seven pass break-ups, 80 tackles and one forced fumble. Like the rest of the Packers’ team though, he had a down-year in 2017. Surrounded by other young talents, Clinton-Dix should have a bounce-back season in 2018. In a contract year, he’ll need to perform at the highest level to be re-signed to a lucrative deal.
