With Organized Team Activities underway for the Green Bay Packers, you’re sure to hear plenty of overreactions about how players are doing.

With the first round of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) complete for the Green Bay Packers and the second round set to begin next week, we are just about to be full go into the NFL Summer hype machine.

All in all, Green Bay will have 10 “optional” OTA days in May and June before a three-day mandatory minicamp in the middle of June. Then, at the end of July, they will begin their training camp that leads to the season.

During that time, media and fans alike, are so pumped to finally have football at any level that we’re likely to see all sorts of overreactions and unrealistic hype placed on players. There will be crazy conclusions made based off unpadded practices and what players do going at half-speed and against practice squad level guys.

I urge you not to buy into the hype and be on the lookout for these five overreactions you’ll hear.
