Gilgeous-Alexander is a bit of a positional unknown. He could play the 1, 2 or 3 at the NBA level, but likely projects more toward the 1. He has good height (6-foot-6) for the position and he made nice improvements to his offensive game last season.. Guard. Kentucky. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. 11. player. 170

Alabama. Collin Sexton. 12. player. 77. Sexton’s talent probably dictates he goes a few spots higher, but the fit just wasn’t there. With the Clippers he can come in and immediately provide them with a much-needed scoring boost in their backcourt.. Point Guard

player. 77. The Clippers hold two consecutive picks at this point in the draft. After going point guard with their first selection, they continue to address their backcourt by drafting Walker, a shooting guard, this time around. He’s another player with a high ceiling that will provide the Clippers with plenty of options moving forward.. Shooting Guard. Miami. Lonnie Walker. 13

With Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap in the frontcourt, Knox could be a perfect compliment. He won’t need to play immediately and the Nuggets can take their time moving him along. If everything goes right, Knox will provide Denver with yet another young and talented player.. Small Forward/ Power Forward. Kentucky. Kevin Knox. 14. player. 73

Small Forward. Texas Tech. Zhaire Smith. 15. player. 142. Smith is yet another player with high upside, especially considering given how young he is. Even though the Wizards are in win-now mode, he could provide them with a nice boost. They’d be able to move him along slowly in Year 1 thanks to Markief Morris and see how his progression goes. Then, when Morris is a free agent next year, Smith may be ready to step into a bigger role.
