2. Can the defense put it together under Mike Pettine?

Speaking of defense, what sort of role will they play next season? Will it be the scapegoat of previous seasons under Dom Capers? Or can the unit get it together enough to push the needle in a positive direction for the team?

So many questions and so much time for the unit to provide us with the answer.

They have failed to provide any lift for the team and are often a detriment to the Packers’ winning ways. They haven’t had many playmakers, either, which have hurt them tremendously. This lack of playmakers has made it even more difficult because they are forced to rely on guys consistently performing and that hasn’t happened either.

Fans had been calling for Capers to get fire for years before it finally happened this offseason. Let’s see what Pettine can do with the unit, as the expectations have risen significantly.
