Keeping Middleton out of any type of deal would be ideal. A threesome of Towns, Antetkounmpo and Middleton would absolutely thrive together. They’d have three players who defenses had to give max respect to. As slim of the chances are of any trade happening, that might make them even slimmer.

In this version, the Bucks again get the twin towers from Minnesota, but send Parker, Eric Bledsoe and a first-round pick back in exchange.

The Bucks would press on Thibodeau’s penchant for winning now by giving him two players who can help Butler and Wiggins take them to the playoffs for the second consecutive season. It would create a logjam at point guard with Jeff Teague, but Thibodeau could get creative and start both of them. A starting five of Teague, Bledsoe, Andrew Wiggins, Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson might be their version of the “death” lineup. It’s all about options.
