Green Bay Packers, Jimmy Graham
SEATTLE, WA – DECEMBER 17: Tight end Jimmy Graham #88 of the Seattle Seahawks makes a reception against the Los Angeles Rams during the 2nd quarter of the game at CenturyLink Field on December 17, 2017, in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Otto Greule Jr /Getty Images) /

3. Jimmy Graham

There has been a lack of tight end play in recent memory as a Packers fan. The last one that comes to mind is Jermichael Finley. He was able to move up the seam and open up the Packers offense. They have found that again in Jimmy Graham and the potential of his acquisition can make the Packers offense one big step to being elite once again. The contract he signed with the Packers is based on him being split out wide as a big wide receiver. The Packers will use Graham in their offensive layout as such. Rodgers loves throwing to his tight ends and will do so even more with Graham in the lineup.

Graham was still able to produce 10 touchdowns while being used wrong 80 percent of the time in Seattle. He wasn’t ever meant to be a run blocking tight end like how Seattle used him. He will show he can still play like he did four years ago while in New Orleans. Even putting the numbers aside and just having him eat up double coverages from defensive coordinators. That is how big of a factor he is that will pay dividends for Rodgers being able to use his huge catch radius and body size. I expect Graham with Rodgers tossing the ball to accomplish 79 catches for 889 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Some NFL analysts have come out and said; “Jimmy Graham won’t be any better this year with Rodgers than he was with Russell Wilson Last year”. I highly doubt that will happen because the Packers are going to use him correctly. I foresee some Lambeau leap dunks coming in 2018 season.

Prediction: 79 catches for 889 yards and 11 touchdowns
