Another draft pick that was picked two rounds late and was gift wrapped right into the Green Bay Packers lap. Equanimeous St. Brown has the size, the speed, the strength, and the athleticism.
What was the reason he fell so much though? Scouts and general managers had heard rumors of an attitude saying he wouldn’t play special teams in college. That burned a lot of teams wanting to draft St. Brown.
Green Bay is a good place for him to concentrate on football 24/7 given it’s a blue-collar town and football mecca to get his direction right. If Rodgers can give his trust to St. Brown, he could flourish in training camp and earn some early playing time. I have St. Brown at a higher impact in 2018 than Valdes-Scantling because he is a more polished wide receiver with his athleticism and upside.
