JK Scott, Punter

Gutekunst not only showed his prowess in being aggressive for trades but being aggressive in upgrading the team as a whole with the special teams unit. He did this by selecting JK Scott in the fifth round of the draft.

Scott is an old-school punter with more of a drop of the football to his punt rather than holding the ball in his hands like NFL punters do today. Even though he has an old style, his punting pays dividends and puts his defense with good field position being known as a field flipper.

He will start right away in the punter position because of the Packers releasing Justin Vogel already. He will be playing full time and will be able to show off that big old style leg.
