J’mon Moore, Wide Receiver

Among the Packers general managers past and present there’s been a mold for drafting a wide receiver. It looks like Gutekunst is carrying the lineage forward with J’mon Moore coming in from the fourth round.

Moore is coming off back to back seasons totaling over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns against tough SEC defenses. With his athleticism and statistics, he should be able to fill that outside spot across from Davante Adams.

On the tape, he has a knack for locating the football and being able to adjust his body before the ball gets there to make the catch. Those two traits will come in handy when QB Aaron Rodgers is throwing the ball with back shoulder throws. Moore should take a jump in training camp and also earn the trust of Rodgers that will earn him significant playing time early in the season on the outside.

Impact Level: Medium to High
