3. Mason Crosby, Kicker

2018 salary cap hit: $5,250,000

The highest-paid kicker for the 2018 season is Mason Crosby, who’s been a stalwart since being drafted out of Colorado in 2007. Crosby has played in all 16 games every season of his career and 176 games in total. He signed a four-year, $16.1 million deal in 2016.

Among his contemporaries, Crosby yields the fourth- highest average annual salary ($4,025,000 per season). He converted 15 of 19 field goals last season, along with 33 of 35 extra points. It was a down-year for field goal attempts in 2017 due to the offense’s inability to move the ball.

Crosby should have a rebound season with the return of Aaron Rodgers and a bevy of weapons on offense this coming season.

The Packers drafted punter J.K. Scott, who looks to assume kickoff duties with his experience in college. This should allow Crosby, who will be the 11th highest-paid player for the Packers in 2018, to rest his leg for long field goal attempts later in games.
