4. Jordy Nelson

Jordy Nelson is another player who might be the beneficiary of recency bias, as he just completed his career as a member of the Packers (barring a return later on).

Nelson was as solid as they come throughout most of his career in Green Bay and is one of the best receivers to ever suit up for them. He was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft, but it took him a nice while to get going.

He was merely a role player, at best, during his first three seasons in the league. He never accrued more than 45 receptions or 582 yards during that time. Fortunately, he busted out in 2011 and gained 1263 yards and 15 touchdowns. This sparked a nice run where he recorded over 1200 yards in four of five seasons.

Nelson was never the fastest or strongest receiver in the league. Instead, he relied on precision route running and a great attention to detail. This is probably why he endeared himself to fans and earned the No. 4 spot on this list.
