7. Dorsey Levens

Dorsey Levens was a do it all type of player for the Packers and one of the most dynamic running backs they’ve ever had.

He and Edgar Bennett created a nice duo out of the backfield who complimented each other well. However, it was Levens who stole the show. He could just as easily break one off a handoff or a dump pass from Favre and was always considered a threat.

He recorded two 1000-yard rushing seasons in 1997 and 1999 and was elected to a Pro Bowl in 97 as well. 1999 was a special type of season for him, as he recorded 71 receptions and 573 receiving yards on top of his gaudy rushing numbers.

Overall, there was just something about Levens that drew the fans to him. He was great on the field, but struggled with injuries throughout his career. His personality must’ve played a huge role in the love he earned.
