6. Aaron Kampman

Aaron Kampman is another former Packer who holds a special place in the heart of fans. He went to school at the University of Iowa and was drafted in the fifth round of the 2002 draft.

He created a nice combination with Gbaja-Biamila, but was a much more complete player. Kampman could certainly get after the passer, but he also used his big frame to hold stout against the run.

He made a living in his opponent’s backfield, recording 15.5 sacks in 2006 and 12 more in 2007. Not surprisingly, he also earned his only two Pro Bowl appearances those seasons. His relentless effort was the main reason he endeared himself to the fans and was also vital to his success with the Packers, as he finished his career with the second-most sacks and tackles in team history over the decade.
