Green Bay Packers: 5 reasons they should consider signing Dez Bryant

3. Short-term contract.

As crazy as it may seem, Bryant has vowed his next contract won’t “be about the money” or about “market value.” Unfortunately, he may be about something entirely different-revenge, as it seems he has his sights set on joining another team in the NFC East.

However, that feeling may not be reciprocated, leaving Bryant in a mode of Dezperation with the hopes of finding a new team this offseason.

Green Bay has the remaining cap room to offer him a solid one or two year deal that will allow him to prove his worth in the league. Although he’s not getting any younger, it may be a way for him to kickstart the back half of his career.

Bryant has already made a lot of money in this league, but will likely have one more opportunity to cash in. A short-term deal will allow him to do that-just not with the Packers.
