2. Kumar Rocker, RHP, North Oconee High School

Kumar Rocker was having a great spring before he suffered a hamstring injury that appeared to take away a little of his power. Before the injury, his fastball was in the mid-’90s, but lost a little muster afterward.

He also has the pedigree of a professional athlete with his dad formerly playing on the line in the NFL. His athleticism shows through when he plays, which could be a very enticing combination for the Brewers.

His slider is a pitch that’s progressing quickly and might become a deadly weapon for him. He also throws a changeup, although that’s behind his other pitches right now. He’s committed to Vanderbilt which may drop him a bit, but should go to the MLB with a first-round selection.
