2. Aaron Jones

Whoever ends up winning the running back job, whether it by Ty Montgomery, Jamaal Williams or Aaron Jones, will have a tough task at hand. They will be forced to try to make defenses respect the run game instead of loading up to stop Rodgers.

My money is on Aaron Jones to win the starting running back job, as he’s the most natural runner of the threesome.

If that’s true, Jones will likely face six or seven-man boxes on a consistent basis and needs to find the holes to make defenses pay. Having an equal attack, both through the air and on the ground, will be critical to keep defenses on their toes.

Far too often, Mike McCarthy and co have had to rely on Rodgers quick passing game to be their defacto run game. That shouldn’t have to happen this season.
