Wisconsin football: 5 players who could be drafted in 2019
The Wisconsin football team is loaded headed into 2019. Let’s examine five players who could enter the NFL Draft next year.
The Wisconsin football team lost a lot of talent, especially on defense, to the NFL last season. However, they also return a ton of talent, especially on offense, that should carry them to another top 10 finish in the playoff rankings this year.
As I said, most of that returning talent is on offense where they basically bring back anyone that matters not named Troy Fumagalli.
Alex Hornibrook is back and looks to build off his great performance during their bowl game. He’ll also have his star tailback returning, Jonathan Taylor, as well as his top wide receivers in A.J. Taylor, Quintez Cephus, Danny Davis and Kendric Pryor. That’s probably the most combination of talent Wisconsin has had at receiver in a long, long time.
Up front (as you’ll see) Wisconsin is also loaded and will boast one of the best offensives in both the conference and the entire country.
Defensively, they have a few more question marks about how to replace the guys they lost. Especially in the secondary and outside linebacker. However, they have plenty of time to figure it out and have the talent to plug and play.
Given the overwhelming amount of good players on their roster, let’s take a look at five guys who could be selected in the NFL Draft next season.
