After the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers shored up a couple of positions and made it more likely a few veterans will get cut before the season begins.

The Green Bay Packers are hoping they found at least a few contributors from their 2018 Draft class. However, with great draft classes, comes great cuts. Or something like that.

With the meaningful additions of at least a few players, Green Bay is going to have to get rid of some extra fat at the other end of their roster. That means they’ll have to part ways with a few guys who have played in the NFL before.

Considering this is people’s livelihoods and jobs we’re talking about, this isn’t one of the best articles to write. Even though it’s easy to think about it based on an online depth chart, these are real people being impacted by the decisions.

The decisions are still necessary, as the NFL is a business at the end of the day. The five players on this list are victims of circumstance and subpar play and are the most likely roster holdovers to be released by the beginning of the season.
