9. Bashaud Breeland, CB

Green Bay has already loaded up on corner by signing Davon House and Tramon Williams to go along with Kevin King and the two rookies Jaire Alexander and Joshua Jackson. So why would they need another?

Well, because Bashaud Breeland would easily be the best of the bunch, making House and Williams expendable. And if you have an opportunity to add a talent like Breeland, you do it.

Breeland already signed one contract this offseason with the Carolina Panthers, but it was voided after he failed a physical due to a foot injury he re-suffered while on vacation. If it weren’t for that, he’d be long gone by now.

If the Pack signed him, he could come in and lock down one of the outside corner positions while King, Alexander and Jackson get their feet under them. Green Bay could then cut the struggling House if needed, creating more playing opportunities for the younger guys. He’d also be great insurance in case King can’t stay healthy again.
