1. Mike Budenholzer

Mike Budenholzer has been in the NBA as a coach for the past 22 years and has only been with two teams this whole time.

He served as an assistant coach with the Spurs for the first 17 years and was a part of all their championships except their most recent one in 2014. In 2013, he became the head coach for the Atlanta Hawks and has enjoyed three winning seasons including a whopping 60-win year in 2014-15.

With the Hawks

rebuilding last year, the team went 24-58 and it brought his overall record down to 213-197. Still, he’s proven himself as a worthwhile coach in the NBA and can thrive with the team the Bucks have in Milwaukee.

With David Fizdale gone to the Knicks, Budenholzer is easily on top of the Bucks coaching search given his X’s and O’s ability combined with his connectedness to the players. Something that should be intriguing to fans everywhere.
