3. Right side of the offensive line.

With David Bakhtiari at left tackle, Lane Taylor at left guard and Corey Linsley at center, the Packers have 60 percent of their starting offensive line figured out heading into the season (barring injury, of course).

It’s the other 40 percent that is proving to be very troublesome. With holes at both right guard and right tackle to begin the year, the Packers appear to have more questions than answers.

Jahari Evans, last year’s starting right guard, is old (34-years-old to be exact) and remains unsigned. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in December and it’s unknown if he’ll be back for the start of the season or not. Even if he, he’s struggled with injuries throughout most of his career.

That leaves Justin McCray as the front-runner to fill one of those positions on the right side and a plethora of other highly questionable players to fill the other.

Former struggling second-round pick Jason Spriggs, former seventh-round pick Ulrick John and 2018 fifth-round pick Cole Madison are the three players who appear to have a chance at earning another spot on the right side.

Which spot exactly? Well, that’s a great question I’m glad you asked. That is precisely what needs to be worked out over the summer.
