8. Josh Sitton

Josh Sitton is still going in the NFL today and is one of the rare active players on this list.

He was selected in the fourth round of the 2008 draft with the 135th overall pick and proved right away to be a grinder who could make it in the league. In his second season, he took over as the full-time starter at right guard and held that position down for four years before switching to the other side.

No matter where he played, he proved he could dominate and make opposing defenses fear him. He formed one of the best guard tandems in the league alongside T.J. Lang (not mentioned in this list). The duo was only beginning to get recognized for the studs they were before Green Bay surprisingly cut Sitton in 2016.

He quickly caught on with the division-rival Chicago Bears and made his fourth Pro Bowl in 2016. Even though age and injuries are beginning to catch up to him, he’s proving he still has more than enough left in the tank to compete with the best.
