The Green Bay Packers have a long draft history. Here’re the 20 best players they’ve selected since the AFL/NFL Merger in 1970.

Although the Green Bay Packers are one of the longest and most-storied franchises in NFL history, we won’t need all that where we’re headed. In fact, we are only going back as far as 1970 when the AFL and NFL merged in order to create our list of greatest Packers’ draft picks of all-time.

Overall, the Packers have drafted 531 total players over the last 38 years so that leaves us a lot of sifting to do.

The formula we’re about to use in order to rank the draft picks took a long time to develop and is very formal and official. It will likely never be replicated ever again and should be used with caution. This formula can best be described in one word: subjective.

There are many arguments to be made that some players not on the list deserve to be on the list, some players on the list don’t deserve it and some players should be ranked higher or lower than they are. I look forward to each and every one of you leaving your list in the comments section below.

However, for now, let’s dive headfirst into the 20 Packers’ draftees that have 14 All-Pro selections and 69 Pro Bowl appearances between them.
