4. Chris Sodom, Center, Georgetown

Chris Sodom is another player who’d have to wait a year to play at Wisconsin, as he was dismissed from Georgetown in December due to a violation of team rules. That’s automatically a red flag for any team, but Sodom might get another team to take a flyer on him.

At 7-foot-3, he has the potential to become an intimidating presence on the floor and anchor a defense from inside the paint.

He struggled mightily during his six appearances last season, averaging only 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He also didn’t move very well on either end of the floor and was a complete liability.

However, maybe a redshirt year of seasoning and working with the coaching staff will help Sodom realize his potential. Just last year, he was a four-star recruit, so he can’t have fallen that far down the totem pole.
