4. Another three-point shooter

Milwaukee has the scorers it needs, now it just needs the shooting. Adding another three-point shooter to the team will help provide Antetokounmpo with the space he needs to attack the lane (which isn’t much, to begin with). The Celtics tried to use multiple defenders to wall the lane off and force him to pass more often than not and it seemed as if Milwaukee was at least one shooter short of making them pay for that strategy.

Last season, the Bucks only attempted 25 three-pointers per 100 possessions, ranking 25th in the NBA. Their percentage also wasn’t the greatest, as they only knocked down 35.5 percent-good for 22nd in the league.

They have guys like Malcolm Brogdon, Tony Snell and Middleton who are reliable outside shooters. Unfortunately, it’s players like Parker (even though he knocked down 38.3 percent last year), Matthew Dellavedova, Sterling Brown, Bledsoe and Thon Maker whose inconsistencies hurt the team.

The hope is Brown or Maker can take a step forward next year in order to provide some of that help, but Milwaukee can’t always bank on that happening. They need to target a three-point specialist in order to help close some of that gap.
