Milwaukee Bucks: 5 biggest needs for 2018 offseason
The Milwaukee Bucks have a lot of work to do this summer if they want to compete with the upper echelon of teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Milwaukee Bucks finished the 2017-18 regular season with a 44-38 record before bowing out in seven games to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. That marked a modest two-game improvement in the win column, but left many people around the Bucks’ organization unsatisfied.
They had set lofty goals at the beginning of the year, hoping to climb into one of the top four spots in the Eastern Conference. They fell well short of that goal, finishing in seventh place.
There was a multitude of factors at play, most visibly the coaching job first by Jason Kidd and then by Joe Prunty. Even though that was one of their most obvious plagues, Milwaukee has other major issues they need to address before the team comes back together.
In order for them to make their goal a reality, here are five things they need in the offseason. This list can range from a certain type of player to a coach to more definitive roles. Whatever the case, these five things will help the Bucks take the next step in their 2018-19 season.
