60. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Garret Dooley. LB. player. Undrafted.

Garret Dooley felt the disappointment of not hearing his name called, but was fortunate enough to sign with the Minnesota Vikings shortly after the draft. There, he joins a very strong team and a strong class of undrafted rookies as well.

After barely playing his first two seasons, he quickly climbed the depth chart his junior year at Wisconsin and played in all 28 games from there on. In the process, he recorded 79 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks.

Minnesota is stacked on defense so he’ll have a difficult time earning playing time even if he makes the roster. However, head coach Mike Zimmer has proven he’s willing to give players a shot on the roster if they earn it. Dooley’s best chance to do so might be through special teams.
