Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Round 7. (230th pick). Leon Jacobs. player. LB. 52

Leon Jacobs was the fifth and final Badger selected in the 2018 NFL Draft and is probably the most athletic player of the group. At 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, he ran a 4.48 40-yard dash and completed 26 reps on the bench press. Those numbers alone garnered him the attention he needed to be selected in the draft.

As a seventh-round pick, it’s unclear what his chances are at making the squad as Jacksonville supported one of the stingiest defenses last season.

Last season was a great example of the production Jacobs can have on the field. He recorded 60 total tackles, 10 for loss, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions (one for a touchdown). If he can continue to produce at his outside linebacker position, he might have a chance to stick around.
