Eric Bledsoe: B

Of all the mid-season acquisitions the Bucks made, Eric Bledsoe was the star addition. He was acquired in a trade with the Phoenix Suns in November in exchange for Greg Monroe, a protected first-round pick and a 2018 second.

Bledsoe may not be the perfect fit next to Middleton and Antetokounmpo, but he’s a surefire talent upgrade over Brogdon and Dellavedova.

In 71 games with the Bucks, he averaged 17.8 points, 5.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. He also shot 47.6 percent from the field and 34.9 percent from downtown. Ideally, those numbers will come up a bit next season, as he’ll be under contract for one more year.

Bledsoe does a great job of using his strength on offense, but often times is completely disengaged on defense. This lack of effort was exploited against the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs when Terry Rozier went off.

If he can improve his concentration and effort level, Bledsoe can take another step forward in 2019.
