Sterling Brown: C+

Sterling Brown was the Bucks’ 16th pick (46th overall) in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft. Because of that, he carried much lower expectations than first-rounder Wilson.

Even if the expectations were the same, Brown outperformed Wilson in every category and was a surprise addition to the team this year.

Even though he struggled some of the time, he always gave it his all and his effort was apparent to anyone watching. The rookie averaged four points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 40.0 percent from the field.

Where he’s going to earn his keep, however, is from the three-point line where he can become a 3-and-D player. Last year, he connected on 35.2 percent of his outside shots which isn’t a bad start. He certainly has room to improve and could become a nice player off the bench for the Bucks.
