3. Knock down open shots.

Game 5 was there for the Bucks to take, but they couldn’t seem to be able to knock down an open shot. Possession after possession, they were moving the ball fairly well and making the extra pass in order to find an open teammate on the perimeter. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to finish the play and come away with points.

That needs to change in order for the Bucks to win Game 7 and advance to the next round.

Players like Snell, Parker, Brogdon and Thon Maker all have to step up and knock down the open shots. Boston is going to continue to pack the paint and force Middleton and Antetokounmpo to pass the ball to their teammates in order to make someone else beat them.

Antetokounmpo is more than a willing passer and will make the right decisions. However, it’s then up to his teammates to reward the unselfishness and put the ball in the hoop.

In the playoffs, Milwaukee is only connecting on 30 percent of their “wide open” three’s on the road according to NBA.com. That’s down significantly from 37.9 percent in the regular season. Make your shots, Bucks!
