Milwaukee Bucks: 5 keys to a Game 7 victory over the Celtics
The Milwaukee Bucks are looking to win a first round playoff series for the first time since 2001. Here are five keys to making that happen in Game 7.
The Milwaukee Bucks haven’t played in a Game 7 since 2010 when they lost to the Atlanta Hawks during Brandon Jennings first stint with the team. Furthermore, they haven’t won a Game 7 since 2001 over the then Charlotte Hornets.
Milwaukee hopes to buck that trend as well as advance past the first round since the same year.
Whether or not they can do that will depend on a lot of factors that are largely in their own control. Even if Milwaukee is outcoached in every way imaginable like they have been so far this series, they have the talent advantage to reverse that deficit.
So far, the home team is 6-0 in this series with neither team being able to win on the road. Hopefully, that changes in Game 7 otherwise the Bucks will be sent home wondering what if.
Before we get too far down that road, however, let’s take a look at five keys that must happen in order for the Bucks to advance to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.
