1. Equanimeous St. Brown, Wide Receiver, Notre Dame

Equanimeous St. Brown remains as one of the most talented wide receivers available. St. Brown is a 6-foot-5, 215 lbs receiver with wheels. He ran a 4.48 forty yard dash and flashed his speed all over the field during his career at Notre Dame.

St. Brown was ranked as Pro Football Focus’ No. 7 overall receiver last season. He moves extremely well for a big-bodied guy, which bodes well for his wide catch-radius. Despite his 6-5 frame, however, he caught only 37.5 percent of his contested targets in 2017, according to PFF. This raises questions about his aggressiveness in attacking the ball in the air.

One of the biggest traits St. Brown has going for him is his speed. He’s a true vertical threat, which is rare for someone his size – so much so that his frame is deceiving to cornerbacks. He also has quick feet, which provide him with quick changes in direction.

A player with St. Brown’s size, speed and potential don’t come around often. He’s still a work in progress, which is why he’s still available in the 4th round. Not to short-change him, St. Brown is still a good player who has the opportunity to be great. Expect him to come off the board quickly on Day 3.
