3. Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Connor Williams could’ve gone in the first round very easily on Thursday night, but has now slipped into Day 2. He’s also a very realistic target for the Packers if they stand pat with pick No. 45.

He can either play offensive tackle or guard, as some project him to move inside in the NFL. Either way, he’d help Green Bay out as they have question marks at both positions entering the season.

With Jahri Evans still unsigned, Justin McCray is likely to take over his starting position and he filled in admirably last year. However, competition never hurt anyone.

If the Packers decide to keep Williams outside, he’d push former second-round pick Jason Spriggs for playing time until Bryan Bulaga is ready to return from the torn ACL he suffered late last year.
