8. Donte Jackson, Cornerback. LSU

Donte Jackson is another cornerback out of the SEC who has lots of experience going up against NFL-caliber wide receivers.

He’s not as tall as the two corners before him, only listed at 5-foot-11, but that’s tall enough to get the job done on the outside. Besides, he brings an element the other two lack, elite speed. Jackson’s 4.32 40-yard dash at the NFL combine is one of the top marks for his position and would be a great addition to Green Bay.

He’s still very raw and needs some time to develop his skills. That might not be a bad proposition for Green Bay who now has decent depth at the position and could move him along slowly if need be.

Many thought he would be a first round pick so it’s a bit surprising he’s still available going into Day 2. However, he’d be another great addition if the Pack wants to double down on corner.
